Shields Sewing Center is very excited to announce this year’s Block of the Month Quilt Class!!! This year's class is entitled "Starting Over" and is an original quilt designed by Jan Schwartz and Judy Barrie and is pieced and quilted in the embroidery hoop. So, if you've always wanted to quilt and have an embroidery machine, this is the class for you!
The “Starting Over” class will meet once a month for 10 months. Each month you will receive 10-15 new block designs and will create 2-4 blocks in the class. You will then make the others on your own before the next month. Along with the designs, you will receive printed instructions to create your blocks. There are 113 different blocks which create a twin size quilt. Assembly and binding instructions are also included.
