Shields Sewing Center Updates

Hello again,

I am writing again so soon for some recent updates.. First
off I would like to thank everyone who made it out to the
Home and Garden show in Iowa City to visit us.. It was a
great show and a joy to work.. I also hope everyone is
enjoying this wonderful weather we are having.. (thinking
about moving to Alaska, I think it is going to reach 40
today)

The main reason for the sudden update is that our website
is down which also means our emails are down.. So if you
would like to reach me (Tim) please email me at
timssc@msn.com . If you need to reach Jan email her at
janshieldssewing@yahoo.com. I would like to also invite
everyone to join us for a HOSTED TRUNK SHOW by
Anitagoodesigns. We will be having a representative from
the Anitagoodesign Embroidery Pattern Company coming to our
Iowa City location to host what they call a trunk show..
What this entails is an evening of fun, excitement and
education that has some audience participation but the main
reason is that they will talk about new and proper
embroidery techniques (from stabilizers to needles). I
encourage everyone to pre-register so that there is enough
room for all (by phone, in person, or by email). There is a
small fee of $15.00 to hold a seat , this fee will then be
applied to store credit the night of the show. This event
will be held like I said in Iowa City on THURSDAY MAY 3 ,
2007 from 6P.M. to 8:30P.M. *note: special pricing the
night of the show.

Last but certainly not least is our FLOOR MODEL SALE April
13-21 .This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a new
machine with full warranty at a discounted price.. However
it is based on first come first serve, and because of the
price decrease, I cannot take trades.. This sale will be
going on in BOTH STORES.
